How to use Knowledgebase
You must have a login to do anything to modify the database. You may enter an ID and click on 'view' to view a specific article, or you can click on 'list' to get the entire database listing. Entering a search criteria and clicking on 'search' will tell you what you want to search for, as the search function isn't quite done yet. :-)
Once you're logged in, you can add entries or edit ones you've entered before. To log in, enter your username and password and click on 'login', or click 'new user' if you haven't got a login yet. If you don't see those buttons you're either already logged in or there's been a mistake. If it's the latter, mail me and I'll fix it. Eventually I will add the ability to upload and index pictures, as well as throw some administrative functions up (deleting, keywording, etc.)
When this is all a little closer to being finished you won't be able to edit entries that you didn't create. You will, however, be able to create an entry which is referred to in bright flashy colours when the original entry is viewed / searched for. That way we can get a system of growing knowledge as well as "how not to do it"s and common mistakes which are probably as valuable, if not more, than the original knowlwedge. :-)
The infrastructure is all in there already. Linking, pictures, administration. I just need to finish off the HTML.
